Replications

5-MeO-DMT Experiences

This is a cellular automata which shows behavior consistent with my experiences at doses of approximately 1.5-2 mg. This replication accurately replicates the white-tinted rainbow quality which my experience had at times, as well as the quality of rainbow vortices which grow and shrink as the waves from various vortices combine and collide.
This is mostly a composition of stacked sine waves creating a somewhat ordered but slightly chaotic arrangement of vortices. This has a slight “alloy” quality to it as there are various scales of slightly different systems seen here. Cellular automata effects are used to create the finer detail of “turbulence” within the experience.
These two are the same system, but one of them with the strobing effect corrected for to make for easier viewing. The strobing is actually quite an accurate replication to my experience but can be intense to view in video, and distracts from some of the structural features. There are structures here which are vortex like but sort of disperse into waves. It’s hard to tell the border between influence of my own knowledge of cellular automata systems vs what may be native to the brain and visuals it emerges on 5-MeO, but the specific qualities of the wave dispersion here have almost 1:1 equivalence with some moments of my experience at a dose of a approximately 2 mg.
An alloy of significantly different wave dynamics happening simultaneously. A handful of large scale vortices moving around, pulling and pushing much smaller scale noise full of smaller vortices. Mostly constructed with sine waves, cellular automata used to replicate lighting/flicker effects.
Similar to the first alloy, an exploration of replicating different scales of wave behavior, and emergence of structure through cellular automata.
System of stacked sine noise, Cube Flipper noted similarity in my other replications with their own experience. With their input we arrived at this result partially replicating their visual experience.
Cellular automata based replication aimed at replicating some of the effects over time of come-up and come-down as the waves simplify and become fewer, and then complexify and multiply again. In the come-down process, a changed structure can be observed as the distribution of the new small vortices is influenced by the simplified structure which occurs partway through the replication.
A demo of the basic cellular automata wave dynamics used in some of these replications, showing a change in scale and complexity across the x-coordinate of space, instead of time as is used in the previous replication.

Kasina Experiences

The MindPlace Kasina strobe goggles in action.
Replication of experience with the kasina glasses – various structures like this could be seen in a range from 5-15 Hz – a wireframe sphere rotating, slight rainbow glow to the wireframe structure.
Replication of experience with kasina glasses at 5 Hz, specifically at this rate the sphere structure was zoomed in and had many more ‘spokes’.
